Search & traffic analytics
Understand how people discover your website, which pages attract demand, and where traffic is changing.
Connect discovery to website behavior
Use search and traffic analytics to understand demand, discovery sources, and landing-page performance. Search Console and Google Analytics 4 provide different perspectives: search performance is not the same as on-site activity. Agent Analytics is a separate view for configured AI-agent traffic collection.
Read the data in context
- 1
Check the connection
Confirm that the selected property belongs to the active project and that it has access to the period you want to analyze.
- 2
Compare like with like
Use a consistent date range and filters. Review top pages, queries, and acquisition sources before interpreting a change in totals.
- 3
Find the next investigation
Look for pages losing attention, queries with meaningful demand, or a source sending relevant visitors. Use those findings to guide content or audit work.
Keep these distinctions clear
- An AI referral visit and a brand mention in an AI answer are different signals.
- An empty chart may mean a missing connection, no matching records, or data that has not arrived yet.
- Provider delays, consent choices, and collection settings affect coverage. Do not treat tracked traffic as a complete record of every visit.
Distinguish agent activity from answer visibility
Agent Analytics uses configured telemetry to show crawler visits, AI-referral pageviews, sitemap fetches, and page or platform coverage. Inspect the relevant pages, crawlers, and logs when investigating a pattern. A bot visiting a page is not proof that an answer engine cited it; use Answer Engine Insights to review collected answers and citations.
